"Relief is what we all desire"

Relief care

During this initial phase of care the main goal is to reduce or eliminate your pain or symptoms. During this phase, appointments can be 2-4 times per week. Depending on the length of time the condition has been present or developing for may determine the length of this phase. A reduction of ones pain may be swift if the problem has been present for days as opposed to months or years. However, for most conditions this is usually the shortest phase of care. Unfortunately, at the end of this phase, some patients make the mistake to discontinue care because their pain has subsided.

Reactivation

This is the second phase of care. During this phase appointments are typically reduced and the main objective is to improve pain-free mobility of the effected area. Typically, the elimination of pain/symptoms is the easiest part of a patient's care. However, in most cases to prevent a rapid recurrence of symptoms it is necessary to continue receiving care to improve strength, endurance, coordination, balance and flexibility, even if your symptoms have subsided. It is normal for some patient's to experience exacerbations in symptoms from time to time throughout treatment as the body is healing. At this time it is also important to stay as active as possible and to gradually increase activity as long as symptoms do not increase. This is also the phase that in-office or home exercises/stretches may begin in order to help accelerate your healing. It is the patient’s responsibility to follow these exercises.

"Great Health and Longevity begin with routine maintenance"

Wellness Care

The objective during this phase is to strengthen and reinforce the goals of phase two. It is very important to complete this phase of care to ensure the maximum benefit of treatment. Most of the in-office work at this point is complete and appointments are usually infrequent. Once you have completely healed, routine maintenance of the body is essential to keep your body functioning optimal. If you made it this far look at the time, effort, and finances that were involved to get you here, it makes sense to protect that investment with regular maintenance.
